I'll chime in here since I went down same path as OP. Last year looking at OR light 5th wheels along with a few other 'light 1/2 ton' 5ths. My payload with HD is 2090. After months of research and discussion on this board and mfg. I realized the pin weights would never work within MY parameters. Weigh your truck to determine what payload you really have, add weight of hitch and cargo, you'll be surprised. I actually could have probably worked out where all the numbers worked, but I just felt it was simply too much work to try and keep within the limits. I would have been playing weight games every trip. OR has a very similar TT that we are now thinking about. So, HD option is a must for 5th wheel on pre 2015 150's. There's more than the extra leaf and it has been discussed many times in older post on this board. Bottom line, you can SAFELY tow a very few 5ths with a properly equipped 150 but make sure you're comfortable with the overall compromise. BTW, I love my 150, it tows like a dream in every condition and I will never own another truck without seat coolers.
Also, on my truck, I would have been over payload long before Rear GAWR.
