Towing, the EB and the F250 will probably be pretty similar on fuel. Unloaded, I expect the EB would get quite a bit better mpg than a V8 F250 (driven the same way by the same driver, of course). I know my EB gets better mileage unloaded than any truck I've ever had, including my diesel. I'm getting 17 on my usual commute, and a solid 20+ on the freeway.
You also have 3.55 gears. 3.73's along with the beefier frame, tires, etc of the HD would IMO drop the mpg's some.
