As long as we are paying a 60-70 cent premium for diesel over regular gas it makes it hard to justify a diesel unless you really do need it for the torque.
Where in the heck are you paying 60-70 cent premium for diesel??? Right now diesel is 8 cents/litre (30.24 cents/us gal) above gas and this for winter fuel. All summer they are equal where we live.
Are you calling him a lier ?
Interesting
Many Canadians laugh when Americans display parochial thinking and here you are doing the same .
It is well understood that stateside the gas/diesel spread has been growing for months,if you don't believe him, a few seconds on a site like gas buddy will prove one of you wrong .
guess who Iam bettin on?
Not calling anyone a liar...it was a legitimate question. Obviously it is NOT well understood to the rest of the world that you folks down south have to pay that much of a spread or I wouldn't have commented. And you accuse me of parochial thinking? I guess I should be more up to speed on what the US is up to on a daily basis so I don't bother you with questions about your country.
My country?
Iam Canadian live close to the border cross shop all the time
Diesel is still a bargain at the international bridge - under a buck a litter - but should be much less.
The gas diesel spread is puzzling
