Well, hopefully their tongue weights were not less than 10%.
And I'm not sure whether they're not listening to the weight police or just ignorant.
They do say something about people towing 7000# whether the truck is capable of it or not. So I guess their excuse is that they're just doing what other people do. Not good enough IMHO.
At least they could mention the payloads. And yes, 1000# of horse matts in a truck with less than 1000# payload.
