Was the 2.7L being forced fed +5.9L worth of air/fuel ?
It all boils down to how much total PSI the crank sees form each piston....other factors are number of and crank offset (lever arm)
The 2.7L will have more PSI per SQ inch, while the bigger displacement will have less PSI per SQ inch, just more SQ inches...
