Honda has a problem with that engine...class action working it's way through the courts
Small displacement and less cylinders being forced fed needs lots and lots of architecture addressing thermal and stress issues...while larger displacement & NA has many decades of trial and errors...
I didn't know that. I'll do some further checks. Appreciate your info.
Looking at replacing our bought new, 2015 Chevy Impala LT (new style) with the 305 hp, 3.6 liter DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, 6 speed auto. This is a non turbo engine which has a surprising amount of power from just off idle right through to the 7000 rpm redline.
It has been a great car, reliable, durable, powerful, loads of room and very comfortable for my XL size. We intended to trade it in on another Chevy Impala equipped similarly, but GM dropped it, among their sedan purge.
We need to look at a sedan for ease of access reasons. As a long term GM customer (starting in '68 with a '67 Camaro RS coupe, 327 V8, 4 speed Muncie)...I don't want to leave the 'General'...but if they don't make what we need...then...
Thanks Ben
