I also have a English made, Matchless 750 Scrambler....the 750 part is a Norton engine....and back in the '60's had many European and Japanese motorcycles.

Competition with bikes was also fierce.

Back then it was the British bikes (Norton, Triumph, BSA, Matchless, etc.) vs Harley vs Japanese bikes vs European.

As long as there will be vehicles and people...there will be competitive factions. :)
