I love these truck wars.
I'm sure I'm much older than most of the guys here (in my 60's)but it all takes me back to the 1960's when I had.. a '67 Camaro 4 speed , 327 V8.
Then it was (still is ;)) Ford vs Chevy vs Mopar...with the other GM divisions and Mercury thrown into the mix.
I also have a English made, Matchless 750 Scrambler....the 750 part is a Norton engine....and back in the '60's had many European and Japanese motorcycles.
Competition with bikes was also fierce.
Back then it was the British bikes (Norton, Triumph, BSA, Matchless, etc.) vs Harley vs Japanese bikes vs European.
As long as there will be vehicles and people...there will be competitive factions. :)
Let the truck wars continue !!
I know I enjoy these threads. :B
Yeah but this is not really the same. It is the same truck with different engine wars. Ford v. Ford
Sure it was the same....engine options vs engine options within the same car.....internal competition happened back then too.
For example....back in the '60's we had some guys that were proponents of high winding small block V8's vs the big block torque meisters....Camaro Z-28 302 vs Camaro 396....Mustang K code 289/271 hp...or Boss 302....vs Mustang S code 390. The question was...which is faster/better.
Nothing's new under the sun.
