Then go by an Ecoboost and you will find out that a lot of what you are saying just isn't true and it will tow the rating of the F150 fine with 87 octane. Until then, you are only going on assumptions that you want to be true instead what is actually true.

Yes, you have been quoting the owners manual but you don't seem to understand the difference between "It will perform slightly better with premium" and "It will self destruct without premium". Either that or you can't grasp the concept that I am a tightwad and am unwilling to spend the extra money for premium but I am willing to live with the reduced performance.
