Ditto on how well his will work. I have the older version F-150, so payload was a bit lighter than his ("only" 2166) and pulled our Jayco 30' fifth 14,500 mi. to all three coasts. Many, many mountains. We were either right on, or 1-200 pounds overweight. Based on quick and dirty guessing, he will still have a bit of buffer. Most new fifths in the same size have gained some weight since we had ours, so my truck was finally out classed, hence going to a TT. But the OP's will provide him with a great, and safe, experience.
