- TvovExplorer IIIf that link is referencing the same study I read about, Toyota had the majority of vehicles on the "Top 10 Most American Made" list. The F150 was the only Ford on the list.
If you want "made in USA", you almost have to buy a "Japanese" vehicle. I am using quotes, because these days vehicles are a conglomeration of parts made all over the world. Just because a vehicle is assembled in one country, that doesn't mean most of its parts were also made in that country.
If a vehicle fits what you need it to do and you like it, then buy it. "Foreign" or "Domestic" means very little these days. - jmillerExplorer

when I was a young boy (18) , I brought a used ford for 2500 and drove until it rusted away. body was gone but the engine was strong. So by 19 it was in the bone yard then?:B
Today I drive a F -150. There is no truck BETTER than a Ford
Don - jerem0621Explorer IITaking emotion out of it...Ford, GM, Ram, and Toyota all make a pretty good truck. Nissan isn't bad either, its just a bit long in the tooth.
Thanks!

Shhhhhh don't talk bad like that. Don't you know ford is the most god sent vehicle being built. :h lawrosa wrote:

Just substitute the word Chevy for Ford in your statement, and that's my feeling too... ;)
There are some classic Chevy's I'd own... Just not any trucks or anything made by GM after 1972..
See, even Ford lovers can do it..

Don't give up hope quite yet...
If the economy continues in the toilet, Fords might come down in price to stay competitive with The Lesser Brands! ;) lawrosa wrote:

There was a time (80's and 90's) that I thought the same thing. :W- Kevin_O_ExplorerYou don't know what your missing lawrosa! The grass is definitely greener on this side! :)
