Yes, thats because dual rear wheels (and 3.73 gears) are standard on the 3500, and if you "delete" the drw option with the customer preferred package xxx, you get a single rear wheel, and therefore 3.42 in the srw. No matter, it'll pull just fine! Its rated to tow over 17,000 lbs as is.
