Careful though. Most people on this forum, put towing as #1 on their priority list. Whereas if you are like me, and have to Daily drive a truck, I did not want a 3/4ton (harsher ride, mpg, size, etc.).
In my world, I only tow 4 months of the year (almost every weekend though), but for the other 8 months of the year, it makes more sense to have a half ton. Would I like a 1 ton diesel, sure, but that means I'd need another vehicle to commute in (as the diesel would not fit in my parking stall at work), and would need to store that diesel somewhere for 8 months (I live in the city, with limited parking).So..
I'd do like Jimmy Fallon and weigh the pros vs cons. And actually prioritize them. Take everything written here (including my post) as a grain of salt, and make an educated decision on your own.
