No reason other than there are more F350's sitting on the lots and may be had for a better price if a dealer is motivated. Depends on the circumstance. If your local dealer has 10 F350's on his lot he's trying to move but you ask him to find an F250, the deal may be better for a 350. Besides, the inevitable upgrade to a larger TT or 5ver in a few years will make the OP glad he has the magic door sticker that gives him more payload in a F350.
