I would also suggest the F250 due to the tongue weight of the trailers that interest you. When shopping for the 250's find one with the camper package that will give you the inverted overload spring over the rear spring pack. Also look at the tires that are on it - The cheaper ones are rated for about 3000 lbs and the better ones are over 3500 lbs each. This will give you the capacity of the F350 without the weight tag reflecting this additional reserve. This gives you a lot of choices in trailers and open up choices for fifth wheels in the 15K lb GVWR range you may want in the future if you select one of the larger engines.
