F150 vs. stupidity

The length killed it..

I saw an AF 811 for sale on a newer Ford F-150 the guy had owned a couple years without anything like this..I have hauled a coiple truck campers on 1/2 ton trucks but none were ever that long,just 8' and 8.5' on long beds..They handled just fine with coiled helper springs and never had any problems even towing horses.

Looking at the strap over the top,he may have just bought it and was bringing it home,a common way for some to get it home.

Bet that thing would pop a mean wheelie!

I always said, "There is no right or wrong way to do camping, it's just different for everyone." Well, in this case ... I think I finally met my challenge on that statement!

They make Flex Fuel Engines. Maybe Ford started making Flex Beds?

I'm thinking a couple of caster wheels from Harbor Freight mounted to the ends of the rear jacks should do the trick.

Maybe he just needs to tighten the front strap.

But you know what, it shouldn’t have done that. The tailgate is down

Wow, I thought that King Ranch badge meant it could haul stuff.

But the salesman said I could!! He probably had to hit the brakes every time he wanted to turn but the power steering worked real good.
