I saw an AF 811 for sale on a newer Ford F-150 the guy had owned a couple years without anything like this..I have hauled a coiple truck campers on 1/2 ton trucks but none were ever that long,just 8' and 8.5' on long beds..They handled just fine with coiled helper springs and never had any problems even towing horses.
