No problems -- I tow 1000 lbs more than you with the same truck. Michigan to Florida, 65 MPH on any hill. I will lock out 6th gear if I am the 'sine wave' hills, but on calm days or with a tail wind, she will do 65 MPH in 6th on her own. I added extra leaf springs to make mine a F350 equivalent, and man what a difference, barely squats now.
