I have a 2002 F-350 and mine used to squat about a little over 2 inches and was a little nose high. I made my own spacers for my upper overloads,idea was taken from another rv,er on this site,and now I sit dead level,without using air bags which I did not want. My trailer is a little heavier than the one you are talking about. My trailer comes in at 13000 with right around 2900 pin weight.I had timbrens on it years back which did ok except for on big bumps which seemed to make the truck rebound kind of hard and did not like that feeling. Trucks rides nice on it"s own springs.
