The motor is a piece of work to be polite. As said before plenty can be found on a ford forum.
I frequently take our F250 to the beach. I use 4W high. I have absolutely no problems with bogging down or getting stuck.. Now sometimes I forget and leave it in 2w drive until I start to spin then the switch over..
