Fast Guns coming loose.
I had it happen again this weekend. A fastgun game loose. Yes, we did hit some large bumps unexpectedly. Each time it has been a front one. This seems strange since I never had one come lose on my SRW in the 8 years I had it. Yes, it is the same TC. Both use/used Torklift frame mounts.
My latest theory is the bed is flexing more than the previous truck side to side. It seemed to move more than I remember side to side compared to the SRW. I bought this truck used, so I'm unclear if the bed has been removed and reinstalled or not. My guess is probably yes it has to install the fifth wheel hitch. To be done is check all bolts for tightness/torque. I've also thought about changing to aftermarket bushings, but I think extra cushioning is good for the most part.
