My dad had a diesel 720 Datsun back in the early 80s as his farm truck. King Cab 2wd that made 70 or 80 HP and a manual tranny (of course). I remember he got a speeding ticket once and he fought it by telling the judge he went back to where he pulled out onto the highway and accelerated as fast as he could up to where he got the ticket, and he wasn't able to get it up to the speed limit in that distance. A win for being underpowered!
