We took the Lance up to Devil's Tower on Father's Day in June. Almost missed it coming from Little Big Horn, MT and through WY. Decided we were close enough in Sturgis, to take the loop around. Chose the day we moved over to Rapid City and it was well worth the fuel.
It was busy and quite a few RVers were able to find a spot to park. Even though the trucks decided to take an RV spot instead of going to the overflow parking, we managed to find an open area.
Disappointed in Sturgis. We should have stayed at the KOA outside Devil's Tower. Looked more Peaceful.
