Favourite CG's in BC/Alberta?

OK, so we've done it, closed the deal on our first TT, a 2007 Nash 19B.

It's not the perfect layout, but as with most things in life, it's about compromises.
I can tow it with my truck, it has all the amenities we want, it's in fantastic condition, and rugged enough for a bit of off road.

The only blemish is that we would have liked a queen sized bed, but I have some ideas about modifiying the fold down couch - as long as we don't mind leaving it set up all the time. We're going to try it as is for a bit, and see if we need to do something. We are not big people, so maybe we can just cozy up a little! ;)

So now the next stage is to get out there. We are based in the South Cariboo area of BC, a pretty good jumping off point to explore more of our Province and elsewhere.

What are some of your favourite destinations, campgrounds, and sights to see in BC/Alberta? There is so much diversity in the West, we hardly know where to start!

We are just the two of us and two Golden Retrievers. Boondocking is definitely a possibility with this rig. As for CG's, we probably don't want someplace with too many extra diversions, like waterslides, shopping malls, back-to-back RV parking,
etc. That sounds too busy for our liking. But we wouldn't mind visiting some full hook up sites with lots of trees or near water, dog friendly, and laid-back atmosphere.

We'd love to hear some of your suggestions! It's getting a bit late to go far this year, but we will have all winter to plan!
Thanks!
