Also, just because there is a 25% tariff on truck imports doesn't mean there is a 25% greater mark up on US built trucks. That is not how it works. There is still stiff competition between GM, Ford, Ram, Nissan, and Toyota.
Then I guess the US has nothing to complain about when it comes to other country’s tariffs on US vehicles. There may not be a 25% mark up but it certainly allows them to charge more without fear of outside competition, Nissan and Toyota included.
