My original comment was in response to NMDriver pointing out that all that "gov't regulation" you and others seem to be against raised the price of vehicles, but more importantly raised the life expectancy of crash victims.
You specifically stated "They should be glad to sacrifice that so corporations can put more money in their pockets." which is why I was asking how would corporations put more money in their pockets without these regulations since it would lower the cost of the vehicle?
Lowering the costs doesn't lower the percentage of profit.
If you are selling a product and make 20% profit on it, it doesn't matter. You can sell widgets for $1 and make 20% profit or sell yachts and make 20% profit.
