Looks like the EU is not on the same wavelength as the EPA. They have a lot of doubts about the FCAEmissions prob into Jeep in the EU
What does that have to do with the 3.0L being restricted by the EPA? Those vehicles have the 1.4L, 1.6L, and 2.0L. The 3.0L found in the European Grand Cherokee is also slightly more powerful than the US version due to the lower Euro 6 NOx restriction.
Simple if they misssed being fined by the EPA the EU issues equally draconian fines. Power absolutely nothing to do with higher or lower NOx.it is how the same engine is configured to meet the regulatory regime.
