No, the topic is about the US Ecodiesel being EPA certified for sale in the US again. It has nothing to do with Europe, Australia, or the rest of the world especially since the 3.0L engine was never banned in those countries partially due to their less strict NOx requirements( I added the higher CO2, twice the CO level and sub micron sizel of the particulates of US Tier2 diesels).
Well the Fiat engines plural including Gas engines.including the VMotori will be have to pass EU tests, if they do not they will face draconian fines.Fiat may have missed EPA fines over the VM Motori but is likely to be caught out by the EU
FCA could be crippled if these fines happen.
