FCA Receives Certification for EcoDiesel
The EcoDiesel will be back in RAM and Jeep vehicles for 2017. Looks like they have a fix for prior year vehicles as well. Announcement

With this thread beeing about EcoDiesel and all I have a question for the ones who (OWN) one or (HAVE OWNED) one.
I was looking at one but I am hearing bad things.
Engine falures.......transmissions shifting from 8th to 2nd going down the highway !!
should I be scared of them or is it just the old ( you only hear the bad news ) thing.
I am keeping my truck, this would be a DD for the DW.
