The EcoDiesel will be back in RAM and Jeep vehicles for 2017. Looks like they have a fix for prior year vehicles as well. Announcement

I think you are right. Looking at the pictures of new F150HD's, they all seem to have 6 lugs unlike my old F150HD. Looking at my F150 specs on Ford fleet, it does not mention the number of lugs under the axles specifications. However, it does show that the ring gear is slightly larger at 9.75 and lube capacity is more at 5.65. It does not give any more specs like the old Ford fleet data sheets would.
