Perrysburg their is only one longer steeper climb on 75 south. I hit it with a good head of steam and held the line at 55 mph taking an 8k TT to FL. Stayed in the middle lane passing strings of semis. Still averaged 15.0 mpg running mostly 65. A few big diesels with TTs passed me but they likely averaged 10 & 11 mpg.
At only 4 mpg difference I saved 66.6 gallons over 1,000 miles. At 2.39.9 a gallon that's an extra $160 of profit for the days work. Makes me happy. Granted that's working her hard but she has held up for 340k so it must not be over stressing anything.
