Some of you posters (mainly one brand owners) simply wouldn't listen or admit to the established facts given and proven for so many years. FCA is going into very deep financial times going forward as noted in nearly all reports and articles/publications again and not likely to survive unless another sucker pours billions into actually acquiring them masked first as only a merger. Check Fiat and Chrysler's pasts and it's self-explanatory.
FCA's long term debt is very staggering and their overall sales are tanking! The family and Sergio know what the handwriting on the wall says and obviously want to get out before the doom and gloom takes full inevitable effect.
I personally, really do feel sorry for the buyers of their vehicles as their resale values will drop like a rock just as they have so many times in the past and most owners can't afford the losses at all. Their blasting in the advertisment media etc with their misleading propaganda has caught up with them again like it always does and they sucked many into their web. Strange how the chickens always come home to roost, NOT!
Will any other corp/financial interest be dumb enough to attempt ruination of their own futures with thinking they can beat the proven odds stacked against an aquisition of FCA given the past history of constant failures? Most boards (BOD) would be very doubtful or nix it as the facts speak for themselves! What could they possibly gain anyway? A continous shell game with huge losses and proven so over and over!
Some on this forum will try to falsely spin the facts into something good as usual, but the majority are so much smarter and see thru it. History repeats!
