This has nothing to do whatsoever with Cummins. The 5.9 and 6.7 are not affected.
104,0000 vehicles affected one estimate,( it includes Jeep) and it appears to be emissions cheating, I suspect FCA may have to do a Mitsubishi and sell to another Automaker, as the cost will be an estimated $5Billion
Cummins and Fiat are in court over some issues with the 07.5 thru 2012. It is not for emissions cheating but for warranty emissions problems.
The emissions cheating in the 1500s and jeeps are not a Cummins engine
