Give it a wax job at least twice a year. Meguires cleaner wax is good stuff. And no, the cover will not be a chore to put on / take off, unless you have physical limitations. Make sure you cover the tires while stored as well. Your friends TT looks the way it does because they don't take care of it. Not trying to be mean - just the way it is.
