I have a 96 F-350 crew cab dually with a 460 gas with a 5 speed. I towed my 36 foot fifth wheel all over the western US for 5 years. Just traded the 5er for a Class A motor home. I never gave it a second thought about backing the Ford under the 5er and heading out for months at a time.
