Tell that to the typical Ram dealer if you get a DEF related error message or CEL. Many will tell you that if you didn't use Mopar DEF, then the repairs are not warranty but on you. Total BS but that is the reality at many Ram service dealerships.
Yes, they can tell you that all they want (The Dealer) but that's not the law and the dealer is not the final arbiter; Dodge is. Contact them and they'll fill you in with the correct info. Dealers have a different interest $$$. Stop listening to dealer BS.
Exactly... Too many people are to quick to give into the dealer BS and the dealers know it. Stand up for yourself.
