We have run into a couple of situtations in state and Federal campgrounds where the centeralized fresh water fausets/spigot were to far away for use to use a Water Thief. I am thinking that the local camper, knew of this situtation, and picked thus the fill campsites close to these fausets.
So I went and bought one of the small, 120v ac, pumps and two of those green 6 gallon plastic jerry cans from Walmart. They store in a certain place in the bed loading untill needed. I sat down in the comfort of my home and riged what it took, for the in take and exit water hoses for this pump. To location it sitting just inside the camper's doorway with the jerry cans on the ground. Now it might take a couple of trips with the truck to fill the jugs, but I DO NOT any longer have to hoist and hold those %&&**^$ water cans up repeatively, untill that water shoches into that tank.....worth every penny !!!!!! One thing, we do carry or own bottled drinking/cooking water. If you every met or knew a camper, that got ahold of some bad drinking water,,,well it can spoil more that a camping or vacation trip. Soon !!!!
