Method HD rims are only ones I know in LT tire diameter that are rated for 4k lbs. If you still need flotation, going to LRF LT tires and these rims makes sense. My F250 was running 8k lbs on the rear axle, so I went to 19.5's with 4500 lb rated rims and LRH 5k lb rated tires. I have not had rims fail on any of my trucks, but I have replaced trailer rims due to stress cracks showing up in my visual inspections.
