Do they call this "drifting"? LOL
I've searched the Forest Service and BLM regulations here in Utah and I have also spoken with the "people who know" in both agencies here locally and I would imagine they are pretty universal across the country and the the closest I could find in regards to dumping gray water is not within 100 yards of any brooks, streams, rivers or lakes.
I seldom do but when it becomes necessary I dig a deep hole and drain it slowly so its never reaches level ground.
My 1969 Excel TT didn't have a gray tank so all the gray water went into a hole and then buried.
