The biggest issue with dumping grey tanks is water from the kitchen sink has all kinds of bacteria from rinsing/cleaning meat products/grease from washing pots/pans/dishes.
I camped when most rvs came with short piece of garden hose drain the kitchen sink. Old campsites weren't a health place for kids to play in the dirt or around those old campsites that folks dumped grey water for 20-30 years.
