The best mileage I have ever gotten hauling my camper is at 70 mph and it is pretty consistent. Is there something bout that statement that you folks can't understand??
Did I say it gets better mileage at 70 than it does at 55? No.
Did I say it gets better mileage at 70 mph than at 35? No.
Did I say it gets the best possible mileage its capable of getting is at 70 mph? No.
Simple statement. The best gas mileage I have gotten in my truck hauling my camper is 70 mph.
If the speed limit is 65 and you're going 50-55 mph you're holding up traffic and being inconsiderate to others who don't want to travel as slow as you do. That's why there's always a line of cars behind you.
