If I understand correctly, your TC does not bump up against the front of the bed. For a brief time, I hauled an Amerigo on my '96 Dodge with no problem.
Within the past month, I have been dialing in my new to me '04 Dodge DRW and my 11.5 foot Bigfoot. I have access to commercial scales. I weighed my front axle, complete truck and TC, then the rear axle. I then moved the TC back two inches. I reweighed and found less than twenty pounds difference in the COG. With the TC overhang, I have over 6" clearance from the bumper.
I do not have the Stable Lift installed. The Bigfoot weight is 3800 lbs without the Stable Lift.
