Congratulations!
I started a similar "project" some 14yrs ago with $25K as truck+camper price goal and was able to beat it!
A few thoughts:
- Lance campers have a special plug that requires equally special wiring to your truck, while a handy person could install one in the bed of your truck, check your local Lance dealer for details.
- The best way to store a camper is indoors followed by under cover of a car port. Sun/UV light does not play nice on RV sealants. While your new-2-you TC has been stored well, it might be a good idea to reseal (or have it resealed).
- The batteries that come with your purchase may (or not!) be of any use. Don't be surprised that they likely need to be replaced.
- Enjoy! Many of us think/feel that a TC is the "ultimate" in RV experience.
(I'm sure that others will chime with valuable suggestions)
Again, congratulations!
