The pick up journey begins tomorrow

The journey to pick up the new rig starts tomorrow ,Thursday 12/27
We are leaving Reno at 8:00am and eta to Twin Falls, ID by 5:00pm
The orientation is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 on a sunny day:)
Hoping to start home by 3:00 on Friday.
The question is WHEN it will snow on the days in transit???????????
Were scheduling the trip around the weather.

    Go slow! That winter storm that blew thru yesterday dumped about 8" on our house. I've been driving in snow for 30 years but today I got surprised by a patch of black ice on the interstate.

    Tapped the brakes to slow down for an accident and heard the ABS start chattering.

    The road looked bone dry too.

    A long travel for a new rig. Congrats. May I suggest you do a very thorough check of everything prior to signng. A long way to travel for warranty work.

    It's snowing steadily right now in Boise and the snow is always more to the East of us. Snow expected through Saturday. Take it safe.

    We flew from Florida to Reno in December of 2012 to pick up a truck. Drove it back on I-10 & I-20, watching the weather every inch of the way. Had a great trip. Hope yours is the same. lizzie

    snow is expected in the pm both Thurs and Fri hope were home by sat pm

    Rig is 2013 Jayco Jay Flight 29rlds (discontinued after 2013)
