Just put in another 21.7 gallons this morning on the way to (ugh) work.. I do admit that not having to stop for gas going and coming is great! My destination was just a bit shy of 200 miles, and with the old 97 (25 gallon tank), I got gas in Vantage, just so I was not going to run any risk of running low. I never went below 1/4 tank with the 97.
As expected the tow home was a blast! That big grade coming out of Vantage was a joy to pull! For those not familiar with it, it's a long grade between probably 4%-6% and goes for about 8 miles or more. The Eco just hummed along in 4th and I just held it to 60 mph pulling just a tad over 2500 rpms. Didn't even really know it!
Here are some shots of the info center when I got on some level ground.

Here's the 'Beast' when we got home.

Love the Tow/Haul mode the more I get used to it. Going down the grades, it just seems to know when to downshift, even before hitting the brakes. Then, when you do hit the brake, it'll go into 3rd and that will hold speed pretty good, but it is revving at 3500 rpms, but I'm used to that from the old 97! ;)
Thanks all for your comments and I've got a bit longer trip planned next time, but it'll be over the same basic route. :)
