Agree on KY Horse Park and Boonesboro. Also My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown may well be open....they're right in town and very nice. Take extra length of electric for sure. Water is likely off, but suggest you take extra hose for that, just in case, as utilities are between sites. Once you get down into TN or south, should be many places in Middle or East TN. If push comes to shove, there's always KOA or similar. Camping World in Calera, AL - just south of Birmingham - has a very nice overnighting area, first come first served, full hookups and the price is right. Shopping in the store would be a nice thing to do. Also CW in Tallahassee has the same, just less amenities. We usually overnight in both CW on the way to FL, but think we'd come out money ahead to find a CG, lol. Not many choices without going quite a way off the Interstate. Have a safe trip.
