Handgunlaw.us good site for state specific info. If you have a concealed carry license from the state you live in you are good to go in most states. Do your research and stay out of jail. I don't go to or even through states that deny my constitutional rights.
Here in Tennessee it is legal for a non resident to have a handgun in their vehicle without a CCW. Do not take it outside the vehicle if you do not have a carry license. You MUST have a license to carry in TN.
