If you carry or transport for any reason or need, you can run afoul of a restriction, some place in the 50 states.
I feel the chance is extremely small however. The chance of you being stopped are small and the chance of you being stopped without just cause are miniscule and even smaller is the possibility of being stopped without just cause and being searched.
If it were to happen to me and should I be arrested, I would place myself in the hands of the Courts. Convictions and imprisonment for the unintentional violation of a law discovered during a stop and search without probable cause is a violation of rights and can carry substantial costs to the arreating officer and his employer.
If you must carry and you are not willing to make sure you are within the law, you do stand the chance of being charged and arrested. Are you willing to suffer that?
