Good advice I took an unmarked unit over and they saw the cage leaving, pulled out and unit searched even though I told the I had left it at a PD just across the boarder.
I can tell you after a 25 year career, if I went through a vehicle it was because they were doing something stupid to draw attention and get arrested. It takes a search warrant absent arrest to search.
