what are the legal rules for inter-state travel carrying a firearm in an rv?

Keep mine in center console locked, cocked, and ready to rock no matter what State I'm in. At night its beside my bed. I wont be a statistic for some knucklehead. I dont speed, roll thru stop signs and obey all traffic laws so getting stopped is pretty minisculed
If I ever do thats the first thing I would tell the officer before he runs my licsence. I do have a CCW good in 39 States.
