And you know how this just wasn't a nail in the tire that let the tire go low on pressure and go BOOM?
I've towed for almost 40 years with only 1 tire that went away. And that was for sure a low air pressure deal.
The way you describe it for sure it was a low air pressure deal also.
My advice? Save the money for new tires and put it into a TPMS. You will be far ahead by doing this IMHO.
